This week we have two guests from the insanely talented and productive art collective UGLAR Works (

We chop it up about Ryan’s novel, upcoming projects with Evan, L.A. life past and present, music, and a whole bunch more. All the while playing the finest in Soul ‘n Funk music cause that’s what we do.

Ryan Gattis is a writer & educator. His most recent work “All Involved” ,a novel of the 1992 L.A. riots, is grounded in nearly two years of research & background spent with former gang members, firefighters, nurses, & other L.A. citizens who lived through it. (

Evan Skrederstu is a Los Angeles native. Muralist, painter, tattoo artist, as well as many other things. He’s beautified everything from the side of multi story buildings to small preserved beetles. (
